Sarah is currently a Writer-in-Resident with Seattle7Writers through June of 2019.
She is currently working on a memoir & will be doing a reading at Capital Cider in Seattle on June 25th, 2019 with other recent Seattle7Writers residents.
Sarah recently became an advocate storyteller with The Stability Network. She shared her Moth-style story at NAMI Washington's The Brain Power Chronicles: Mental Health Stories fundraiser in November 2018. It was broadcast on KUOW.
She is a 2016 graduate of the Artist Trust's Literary EDGE program, a professional development program for writers held in Port Townsend, WA.
Since 2015, Sarah has been writing and publishing on the topic of mental illness:
Her poem, Gregeroony, was published in The Human Touch Journal in May, 2017 on behalf of the University of Colorado's Center for Bioethics and Humanities.
Her personal essay, A Covert Plan, appeared in two University of Washington anthologies in 2016: Stratus: Journal of Arts & Writing and Human Geography.

Sarah is back to working on her solo show, Call Me Crazy. After 3 years of working on a memoir on the same subject, Sarah has decided it's time to return to this passion project and turn it into a full-length show.
Call Me Crazy was last performed as part of Phoenix and the Frog's Rewired! in October, 2013.
In February of 2013 it was part of Eclectic Theater's Mini Fringe Festival.
In October of 2012 it was part of the Sound Mental Health fundraiser: Eliminating Stigma Through The Arts.
It debuted in April of 2012 at Stone Soup's XX Fest 2.0. Night of Solo Performance.
